Risto’s back!

Stepchild-Am Risto Ruokola got back to riding after a knee injury. After a week of riding the kid is lookin solid and already nailed some footy for the upcoming video. Get’em kiddo!

Breakin the euro-ice

Over in Europe we officially kicked off the production for 32/Stepchild video with a trip to Norway. Stian promised to host us up at his place in Geilo,which is his home resort. So it was me,Markku Koski & Fredu Sirvio headin over to land of vikings.

Geilo,Norway. If you look closely you can almost see Stian’s house on the far right-side of the mountain.

Weather was awesome even though the sun only lit up one side of the valley. 

Welcome to Scandoland, sun is super low this time of the year. This was as high as it got during the day.

We took some fun runs on the hill and got our team spirit up.

Going up the lift wasn’t too rad. The cold weather with wind-chill made it a freezin ride. Check out Fredu’s super technical outerwear.

Basecamp was Stian’s house which was really close to the slopes. You can actually ride right up to the frontdoor from the hill.

Pretty sweet. Just had to watch out for cars when we did our euro-carves down the road. Hahahahaha.

Every night we had dinner together and Stian turned out to be talented in the kitchen. Yummy.

After shreddin for a few days we headed back to Oslo for some street-rail action.

The snow wasn’t really amazing for rails, but we still got some bangin action with a little bit of effort.

We made a mistake by going through this park full of kids. Markku and Fredu immediately got some new fans that just wouldn’t let us go.

So it was cool to kick off the season. We got some plans going, chilled with the bros and got some footy in the bag.
